Here is the storyboard to film comparison. I was impressed with how closely the director stuck to the boards I had worked on. In animation, the storyboards are translated very literally because you have complete control over the elements. But in live action, the storyboards are loose guidelines to get and overall feel of how a project will look. These shots match really closely to the boards that I had drawn out. I enjoyed working on this project, the director was able to communicate exactly what his vision was and I was able to put that to paper in one draft. That rarely, if ever, happens. There is a saying that it shouldn't be called storyboarding, it should be called story re-boarding because you work and rework and rework things to death. This was one of those times when the channels of communication were open and uninterrupted.
