Crabtree

On the BYU campus there is a building that I spent 90% of my time in called the Crabtree Technology Building. Everytime I went in that building I couldn't help but think of an image like this. I finally caved in and had to draw it.
I've always liked the idea of a chalky kind of look with negative lines. Just took a minute to spit out a sketch.
nothing much to say about this one. Just thought it was an interesting squiggle.

Final Shot

This is the final shot from the student film that I am directing. It doesn't have any audio, but the boy says to his Mom, "I'll be in my room". You'll just have to wait for the final film to understand the context of why she is staring offscreen and why he's being such a little punk. It all makes sence in context. So this marks the end of all animation on this film. Which is such a relief and a big step for this project. I am very pleased with how the animation looks. I think we acheived what we were after.

the unknown holiday

Yesterday was National Grandparents Day. A little known holiday. My wife and I decided to actually celebrated it by going around to our Parents and Grandparents delivering cookies and holiday cheer.
