Right now I'm in a class where we talk about what makes a cool character design and it is amazing. I used to think I was a pretty good little artist, but seeing what some of these other guys are coming up with is eye opening. Humility is a good thing. I just realized, looking at these, none of the characters are happy. I'm going down hill....

When I was given the title "I Will Follow Him in Faith", no real image came to mind. As I sat and thought about it, I wanted the cute little kids to be involved, but I didn't want to make them the focus of attention. The Christus statue seems appropriate because it is the "Him" that we're following and it clearly displays the Atonement in His hands.
